Watch your sun exposure. Although people still think that a tanned complexion looks fresh and youthful, on aging skin it looks tired and dry. On the other hand, fair, light skin pays off because you will have fewer lines and sunspots, and your skin’s texture will remain more smooth. External factors such as sun, environmental toxins and poor diet contribute to almost 80 percent of skin’s aging effects. Wearing a good sun screen and avoiding sunburns really does pay off with a more youthful complexion. Use a bronzing powder on your face to give you a sun-kissed look without the sun damage.
Become a trend-setter. Classic and sophisticated styles are easy to follow, but tend to be expensive and routine. If you have an individual approach to fashion, then show it off. Bold, bright colors and interesting prints can really set you apart from the crowd, in a good way if you know how to do it. Incorporate your creativity with today’s trends and you will be looking like you stepped out of a magazine, and not off the rack of your local department store.

Along with nutritious whole grains, you can see the difference that eating a healthy diet makes in how beautiful you look every day.
Dead skin cells can build up on the surface of your skin which makes it appear dull. The underlying skin cannot breathe with the dead cells on the surface, so they need to be removed to reveal the new skin underneath. Use an exfoliating face wash at least once each week, and some of the more gentle ones can be used every day. Do not scrub your face too hard with the exfoliating cream since this can cause damage and redness to your skin.
Get plenty of sleep each night. There are many reasons why it is important to get enough sleep each night, and maintaining your beauty is one of them. When you do not get enough sleep you may develop dark circles or bags underneath your eyes. These flaws can have a negative effect on how your face looks.
Use a nightly eye cream that contains vitamin K. Vitamin K is used to reduce bruising, and it can reduce the amount of blood that rises to the surface of your under-eye area. This prevents or reduces the chances of the purple discoloration from happening in the first place. Look for cream formulations that have at least 5% vitamin K. Additionally, studies have shown that vitamin K works even better when used with retinol, so you may want to speak with your dermatologist about a retinol prescription.
A good bronzer can be used on your face and body to give you an overall glow and appearance of health. It can also be used on your eyelids before or in place of eyeshadow. Make sure to apply bronzer evenly to avoid creating blotchy spots. It is best to use a brush for proper application.
