I do have to admit that I am intrigued by the idea Donald Trump entering the network marketing arena. No doubt that his entry has, and will continue to, generate plenty of buzz as well as add a measure of credibility to the network marketing industry. Indeed, Donald Trump is not the first or the only financial titan to endorse network marketing. Billionaires Warren Buffet and Richard Branson, along with multi-millionaire Robert Kiyosaki are also involved in the network marketing industry. Having the Donald’s name associated with this business is definitely a plus, but would this be a viable business opportunity without the clout that Donald Trump brings?

The Trump Network itself is not exactly a new company. Donald Trump acquired Ideal Health in August 2009 and brought it into the Trump empire. Ideal Health was founded in Porstmouth, New Hampshire in 1997. Like most of the network marketing companies around these days, the main focus of the Trump Network is nutritional supplements. The signature product is the Custom Essentials line of nutritional supplements, which are based on the results of the revolutionary PrivaTest. The PrivaTest is a home testing kit that supposedly tells you exactly which nutritional supplements your body needs, so that you can customize the Custom Essentials package to deliver the nutrition that you need. The other two major products are a weight-loss system called Silhouette Solution and a line of dissolvable natural energy stimulants called QuikStik.

There are other products as well including a line of cosmetics called Bioce Cosmeceuticals and a line of snacks for children called Snazzle Snaxxs. But the main thrusts of the company are nutritional supplements, weight loss products and energy drinks. These three are all highly profitable markets. The products are all said to be high quality. And the PrivaTest/Custom Essentials line offers a Unique Selling Proposition that distinguishes it from most other MLM/Network Marketing companies. The product line appears to be a winner, but what about the business opportunity?

The business opportunity is solid. I find the compensation plan to be comparable to many others in the industry. If you enter the business with the starter package, you receive a fast start bonus for every new member you bring into the network. If you enroll five members, you will have earned back all of your initial investment. However, statistics show that the average networker only sponsors 2.7 people in their entire lifetime, so personally enrolling five people may be difficult for some. But if you’re dilligent and willing to learn the trade of network marketing, sponsoring five and more is definitely doable.

I admit that having the Trump name associated with an opportunity is a definite asset. I hear the Donald on the radio every day advertising The Trump Network. However, the Donald will not be building your business for you. You won’t make any money unless you can retail the product and recruit new members. You will need to market the business yourself. While you’re at it, you should also market and brand yourself. You will need to distinguish yourself from your competition, by positioning yourself so that when people look to join The Trump Network or purchase the product, they will look to do business with you. Remember, people don’t join a company, they join you.

The Trump Network is a solid company with great products and an excellent business opportunity. But how well it will work for you will depend entirely on you, your ability and your efforts. It will definitely work for you if you consistently work hard, market effectively and don’t quit.

I will attempt to answer these questions in just a few seconds. But let’s define exactly what a brand is. You might even think about a system that produces an identical dining experience whether you’re at a McDonald’s in Japan or in New York City.

So if you’re a network marketer or a small business owner, why is it important that you brand yourself? It is also important to have a consistent message, as well as a consistent look and feel in your marketing materials. You also want your actions and your behavior to be consistent as well, consistently good that is. One way to ensure that your actions and behavior remain consistent is to be yourself! Don’t try to act or talk like your upline or another leader in the industry. Don’t try to be something that you are not. There are billions of people on this planet and no two are the same. You have some unique qualities as well as unique experiences. Your story is different from everyone else, so let us hear your voice. Establishing a good unique logo helps differentiate you too. Placing photographs and videos of yourself on your sites make you real to people. Remember, people don’t join companies, they join people that they like and trust.

However, a good brand is a lot more than words and images. A good brand implies that what you have to offer cannot be easily found elsewhere. So if you’re advertising excellent service, you need to provide excellent service. It you offer a guarantee, stand behind your guarantee. In other words, you have to live
the brand, not just say it. I heard far too many stories of people joining network marketing companies only to have their upline abandon them instead of helping them get off to a good start. Have you ever bought a product and experienced problems with it, and then have difficulty getting any kind of customer service? You don’t want to get a bad reputation or a bad ‘brand’. Can you say British Petroleum? It’s like that old saying, “you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression”. You may be able to recruit a large number of people into your opportunity, but if you don’t live your brand, you won’t be able to retain them.

There are of course a large number of technical things you can do to establish you brand such as creating websites, blogs, landing pages, capture pages, advertising copy, articles, videos, post cards, and on and on and on. I will attempt to address some of these in a future article as these are all important to establishing a viable business and web presence. You certainly do not want to rely on a company replicated website. That is your company’s brand, not yours. In that case, you definitely want to create your own website, or preferably a blog. But the most impressive website in the world is no substitute for honesty and virtue. I believe that when it comes to branding, character trumps all. If you provide your customers exceptional value and customer service, keep your word, and stand behind your products and services, then you can have no better brand than that.

How to generate free traffic to your website, you ask? There are many, many ways to get visitors to your website. However, the trick is to get the “right” visitors to your site. You want to attract the people who are looking for what you have to offer. If you are in business, then the ultimate goal of your website is to make sales and generate profits. So it’s not enough to just attract visitors, you want to convert those visitors into leads and eventually into customers. If there is one thing Google loves, it is content; relevant and useful information for people using their search engine. Content marketing is a pretty broad area which includes blogging, article marketing, and video marketing to name a few.
Blogs (short for Web logs) are hands down the easiest type of site for search engines to rank on the internet, as well as about the easiest site for an internet newbie to setup and administer. The key to generating traffic with your blog is to consistently post new content and share/promote it. You can do this by using social bookmarking services like ShareMe and Onlywire.
Article Marketing is the premier way to create massive backlinks to your sites. Not only can you post your article on your blog, but you can submit your articles to hundreds of high-ranking article directories. You can use the resource box for your article on these directories to link back to the original article or your blog. When the search engine sees all of these links back to your site, it will boost your page rank.
You can also create backlinks with video marketing. You can also upload any videos you create to high-ranking video sharing directories like YouTube or Metacafe. And just like with the blogs, you can share your articles and videos with social bookmarking services on the Social Networks.

Social Networking
Social Networking embodies one of the most important aspects of marketing, that is building relationships with your prospects. I would advise you to join a couple of groups or forums related to your niche in these networks and observe how people relate to each other. And then jump in and participate in these conversations. Give people a chance to get to know you. And if you can contribute useful information in these forums, pretty soon you will find people looking to join you. Remember, people don’t like to be sold.

So the key to generating free targeted traffic on the internet is to provide useful information to people and search engines. I believe that it is more important to create content that people like though. Because people can create the one thing that the search engines can’t, and that is viral traffic. For example, if I found a really cool site, why wouldn’t I want to share it with my friends and other people who I think might like it? And if you provide people on the social networks with useful information, there is a good chance that they might visit your site looking for more. Free versus Paid Traffic strategies, which strategy is better? I guess the answer to that question depends on what you need, and how deep your pockets are. Generally speaking, if you want fast or instant results, then paid traffic would work better. If your strategy is more long-term, then free or organic traffic may be your best bet, especially if your budget is limited. But before we get into the pros and cons of each strategy though, let’s look at some of the ways you can generate free and paid traffic.

Free Traffic Strategies.
There are quite a few ways to generate free traffic to your site. Not all of these methods deliver Targeted traffic however. The best ways to drive targeted traffic to your site is by using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques or Search Engine Marketing; content marketing which includes blogging, article marketing and video marketing; social bookmarking through sites like Digg, Reddit, etc.; and by Social Networking through sites like MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter to name a few.

The first advantage of these strategies is that, with the exception of some inexpensive tools you may wish to use, these methods are 100% free. So you don’t have to worry about busting your budget. More importantly though, organic traffic is the gift that keeps on giving. That is, unlike the Paid methods, you can receive returns on your investment long after you do the work, which brings us to the disadvantages.

It does take some time and effort in order to generate free targeted traffic. You will have to work. Also, it usually takes a couple of months before you start seeing significant results.

Paid Traffic Strategies.
Paid strategies include Solo advertising, Ezine advertising, banner advertising, Pay-per-Click (PPC) and Pay-per-View (PPV). The most effective of these appear to be PPC, hands down, especially utilizing the Google Adwords PPC campaigns.

The advantages of paid traffic strategies is that you don’t have to wait long at all to start seeing real results. Also, the results from paid traffic are a lot easier to measure and track. You get a good idea of what works, and what doesn’t, so that you can tweak your keywords, ads, and other elements accordingly.

The disadvantages start with the cost, of course. PPC and paid ads can be very expensive if you are not careful. Another disadvantage is that after your campaign ends, the traffic to your site dries up.

So Which is Better?
Is one way better than the other? I don’t think so. The optimal way to market would be to incorporate both strategies. What is important though is to make sure that your site does a good job of converting visitors to leads and eventually to customers. I mean what good does it do if after all of your hard work, or after all the money you spend, that you get tons of people to your site but nobody buys anything. That would be very discouraging indeed. On the other hand, you can have that most dynamic site in the world, but if no one ever sees it, you won’t make any money that way either. So it is important to get as many people as you can to your site. It is also important to engage them once they arrive, whether you use free or paid strategies to get them there.

Welcome to my Automatic Article Submitter software review. I am going to assume that you are here because you understand the power of article marketing, that you are interested in getting as many inbound links or back links to your website as possible. I assume that you know that article marketing is an excellent way to establish yourself as an expert in a given niche and develop loyal followers, who may someday become loyal customers. If you have invested any time at all in the article marketing process, then you know that it can be a very time consuming process to manually submit to article directories. There is also the business of setting up accounts, confirming emails for those accounts, creating variations of your articles, properly formatting your articles for those accounts, and confirming that your articles were accepted by the article directories. Now, doing all of that will take a nice bit of time if you are submitting to, lets say, only 3-5 directories. But what if you want to submit to 50, or 100, or even 300 directories? That’s where article submission software comes in.

Article submission software will make a lot of the above processes less painful and time consuming. You will find that some submitters will only do one or two of those processes and some will do all of that and a lot more. Some submitters will perform a lot of these functions auto-maGically and some will require manual intervention on your part to perform them. There are a number of free article submitters on the market and you will find that for the most part they work fine, but maybe they only submit to 25 directories. Or maybe they require you to manually verify that the article is formatted properly and press the button to submit it to each directory. They will definitely prove that old maxim true, “You get what you pay for”. At the other end of the spectrum, you have submitters that will automatically create hundreds of variations of your articles and submit them to the directories without any intervention on your part. But this type of service will cost you hundreds of dollars every month.

The Automatic Article Submitter, in my opinion, falls somewhere in the middle here. There are a number of outstanding article submitters and submission services out there. Some of them charge a monthly rate, and some of them will charge you for each submission. One of the things I like about the Automatic Article Submitter is that it is a one-time cost, currently less than $100. You will not find a better submitter anywhere for that price. It will submit your articles to over 300 high quality article directories. It will automatically setup your article directory accounts with the information you provide and confirm each of those accounts, which will literally save you tons of time. It will automatically format your article for each directory that it submits to. It will automatically set up the proper categories at each directory for you to submit your articles to.

The Automatic Article Submitter will allow you to spin your article with the assistance of a built-in thesaurus of over 20,000 related words to create as many variations as you like. It even allows you to submit your articles to your own blogger.com or wordpress.com blogs. It automatically confirms for you the success of the submissions, and gives you the opportunity to correct and re-submit any failures. You can also ascertain your keyword density and word counts before you submit your article. It also allows you to schedule the submissions to vary over time. And I’m sure it does a lot of other things that I fail to mention here.

There are a few drawbacks. It does take some time to get everything set up, especially the first time you submit an article. There are also a few directories that will not accept an automatic submission, so your manual intervention will be required on a few directories. But other than that, it is a really fine tool. The software’s creator, Milan Kosanovic, regularly updates the software so that it gets better all the time. Milan also regularly provides tips and advice on content marketing every other week or so. All in all, the Automatic Article Submitter is an excellent tool and will more than likely prove very satisfactory to you. But I encourage you to do your own due-diligence and explore other article submitters or article submission services. You should compare the features and benefits of the different submitters and pick the tool that is best for you.

Welcome to my SEO Copywriting Tips. Mastering the skill of SEO Copywriting can prove to be critical to your success in online marketing. This is not to be confused with copywriting itself, which is concerned more with making a site successful and converting visitors to customers or subscribers. Search Engine Optimization Copywriting is concerned with getting visitors to your site by making your site rank higher in the search engines for particular keywords or search terms. The actual goal of SEO is to get your site to the top of Google and other search engines. At the same time, the content that you write needs to appeal to humans as well. The content should to be relevant to the target audience and contain valuable information. But we will focus here on making your content search engine friendly by optimizing a variety of on-page elements.

The most important thing you can do to optimize your content is to write a good unique title. The title tag of your page or article will affect your search engine ranking more than anything else on the page. You want to make sure that your title contains the keywords that you want to rank for. Your title should be descriptive and as unique as possible. When Google crawls your page, it is going to look at your title to determine what the rest of your page is about. It is also important to make sure that your title is enclosed in H1 tags, as Google and other search engines assume that the text within the H1 tags states what the page is all about.

The Description is another important area for you to focus on. You should also place your keywords in the description. Most search engines treat the text between the Description meta tags as the snapshot for your webpage, and will often display this text in the search results. So not only is this area important to the search engines, but it needs to be enticing enough for the person doing the search, that they will click through to your page after reading the description. So tell them what they want to know or let them know that you have what they are looking for.

The Keywords meta-tag used to be pretty important, but a lot of search engines ignore this area now because of repeated abuse and keyword stuffing. So the most important use of keywords after the title and description will be in your actual content. It is suggested that you place the keywords you want to rank for at the beginning of the first paragraph, near the end of the page, and maybe once or twice in the middle paragraphs. You want to be careful not to overuse the keywords or the search engines may determine that you are trying to spam them. The rule of thumb is that your keyword phrase should not account for more than 2 percent of your total word count. It is better to use synonyms or words with similar meanings to avoid keyword stuffing. Besides, the search engines love it when you use synonyms. This practice is called ‘latent semantic indexing’. This will actually qualify you for more search terms. Finally, like the H1 tags, the search engines treat text within header, bold and italics tags as important. So any bolded text, italized text, or other headers (H2 and H3) should contain keywords as well.

There is one flaw with SEO Copywriting, which is it isn’t very effective at all for very competitive search terms. So if you are searching for insurance, work from home, home business, etc., those would be pretty competitive terms and it would be pretty hard to get on the front page of Google using those keywords. In this case, you would want to use long-tailed keywords, which are basically an expansion of your core keyword into a more specific combination of words.

If you get anything out of this article, the most important thing is that content is king. If you provide information that has value for your targeted audience, they will in turn share it with others, which will create inbound links to your site as well as increase your site popularity, which is what you want. So what you want to do, in my opinion, is to write good, persuasive, informative, and relevant content for your human readers and then optimize that content for the search engine spiders or crawlers. If your audience likes your content, chances are the search engines will too. If you follow the above SEO Copywriting tips, they most certainly will.
