Emu Oil: This oil has essential fatty acids which help treat psoriasis and so should be applied on the lesion as instructed by the producer.
Chamomile: This is a widely used psoriasis home remedy in Europe. Chamomile contains an anti-inflammatory flavonoid compounds which helps treat psoriasis. If you are suffering from ragweed allergies please do not use chamomile to treat the psoriasis as it belongs to the ragweed family.
Moisturize your skin: Take a shower with mild temperature and let the water pour on the area of your psoriasis. Stay in there for at least 15 minutes a day. When you moisturize your skin through a shower, you prevent your dry and affected skin to become infected.
Aloe Vera: Aloe vera is one of the mainly recognized skin care products. For a long time Aloe vera has been used to hurry healing of minor cuts and burns, recently, it has been found to be one of the top psoriasis home remedies. It could be extracted from the plant or bought at a pharmacy, and applied to affected areas. It is known to remove psoriasis plaques from the skin.
Control your weight: Studies shows that being overweight can be directly related to psoriasis. Therefore it is important to keep a daily exercise routine and eat a healthy diet.
