When most people talk about the Empower Network, the first thing you usually hear about is the 100 percent commissions paid instantly to your bank account. I admit that it is pretty powerful to get paid right away, and to get more than the usual teeny-tiny commission check that you have to wait up to a month for. But I think to dwell on that misses the whole point of the Empower Network. The idea after all is to EMPOWER the newbies and those who have yet to make any money online to get into profit quickly without having to endure the steep learning curve and growing pains that the top marketers and “gurus” had to go through. The Empower Network is the brainchild of David Wood and David Sharpe, two of the most prolific internet and network marketers in recent years. It impressed me that instead of trying to sell, they seek to educate and provide value. And I believe that is one of the reasons why they are so successful with doTERRA. That and their sincere desire to help others become healthier and attain financial success.

Actually Organo Gold has a number of other products besides coffee. I’m talking about tea, hot chocolate, and skin care products to name a few. What they all have in common is that they all incorporate ganoderma lucidum. Ganoderma, also known as reishi or ling zhi, is a mushroom that has been cultivated in China for over 4,000 years. This mushroom, also called the King of Herbs in China, has been used primarily for many medicinal purposes. This mushroom has been said to relieve fatigue, reduce cholesterol and high blood pressure, increase stamina, and boost the immune system. It has even been said to reduce cancerous tumors and slow their growth! Now, Organo Gold reps will tell you that they make no medical claims about their products, but do recognize from many testimonials a high amount of “coincidental” cases of people whose health improve after using their products. Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to sample the product, so I cannot speak to the taste or any health benefits that I experienced. But so far, I have heard no one say anything bad about the product.

Nor have I heard anybody say anything bad about the opportunity. I’ve seen a couple of videos from some Organo Gold events or functions, and in them I’ve seen a lot of fired up distributors. That usually tells me that people are making money, lots of money.
There is a lot of emphasis on life-style in the videos and the top distributors obviously enjoy all the trappings of wealth. The top distributor in Organo Gold makes over $4 million! And there are at least four others, including former Denver Broncos receiver Rod Smith,
who are making close to $1 million a year. The compensation plan is solid. There are seven ways to get compensated, including a robust binary plan for long-term residuals, and fast start bonuses on start-up packs or first orders to put money in your pocket quickly.

I honestly don’t know much about how new distributors are trained and spun up to speed. But I can tell you that Organo Gold has some pretty impressive leaders. Of course, it all starts with founder and CEO Bernard Chua and his vision for the company and his advocacy for
the use of ganoderma. And there are the top distributors and leaders like Taurea Avant. I had the good fortune to attend trainings Taurea hosted about a year ago when she was making over six figures a year in a different company, one that I’m still involved with. Not only did
Taurea do product specific trainings, but she taught mindset, personal development, internet marketing, network marketing, and there was some specific technical trainings too, like blogging, video marketing, search engine optimization, etc. I learned quite a lot from her.

Now I could write a book about Taurea, but I will try to keep this brief.
There are two things I think it important that you know about her. Number One, about six months ago, Taurea walked away from that company I mentioned earlier and that six-figure income to join Organo Gold. That should tell you a lot about Organo Gold.
Number Two, every since she left that company she has called me, or emailed me, or IM’ed me at least once a month to see how I was doing with the things she taught me and to see if she could be of any further help to me. She has never asked me for so much as a dime for her help, and she has never tried to get me to buy some GURU product. She hasn’t even asked me to join Organo Gold.

But it is still important that you learn how to market so that you can put the opportunity in front of as many people as possible. Asea claims to be a category creator, that is they have done something that has not been done before. Their representatives are quick to state that they are not a juice company, although their flagship product is a liquid nutritional product. A liquid nutritional supplement whose consumers claim make them feel better, healthier, more energetic, more youthful, etc. But their liquid product is not a juice, and not a vitamin. So what is it?

Asea’s claim to fame a patented scientific technology called redox signaling. Asea is only producer of this technology in the market. The redox signaling molecules in every bottle of the product are said to efficiently protect, repair, and replace the cells in your body. It does this by activating the anti-oxidants in the body courtesy of the reactive molecules found in only one source external to the human body, that is in the Asea liquid nutritional supplement. These reactive molecules are fundamental to the natural healing process of the cells, the slowing of the aging process, and is also said significantly improve athletic performance. This is primarily done by lowering the average heart rate and increasing endurance during exercise.

When it comes to the people, you have to start with Asea’s founders Verdis Norton and James Pack. Unlike most MLM founders, these guys had a proprietary product before they had a company. Mr. Norton first learned about the redox signaling technology that had been researched and tested for 16 years previously. When he shared this knowledge with Mr. Pack, he found a willing and able partner and they quickly acquired the rights to the technology. It was later that they decided to market the technology through a network marketing venture and Asea was born. Today there are thousands of excited, enthusiastic advocates, or distributors of Asea including a good friend of mine named Peter Radu.

These advocates are not only excited about the product, but the opportunity and pay plan as well. Asea has seven ways to compensate their sales force. They pay weekly so the advocates don’t have to wait long for their pay. There are instant retail profits, and a number of bonuses, including matching pay bonuses where distributors get matching pay on whatever pay their direct enrollees earn. The residual income structure is binary, so every advocate has two teams. Like most binary companies, you get residual pay on your weakest leg, which is the only drawback, but Asea makes up for it with other bonuses.

But the key to making money with Asea and most other companies lies in having the ability to build a team that continues to grow, not only in size, but in terms of business maturity and effectiveness. Having great leadership is key to growth. The friend I mentioned earlier, Peter Radu, is such a leader. If you are looking for someone that is willing to roll up his sleeves, lock arms with you, and help get your business off to a fast start, Peter is your guy. Peter has a huge heart for people and is one of those proven guys who has “fruit on the tree”. Welcome to this not so independent comparison of the Numis Network with its competitors. I will not name any of the competitors in this article, they know who they are. Besides I’m sure there will be more and more of them as the year progresses. Full disclosure, I am a Numis Network Independent Collector Representative (ICR). I have been involved with Numis for the last three months, but have known about the company for almost a year now. If I have any regrets, it’s that I didn’t get involved sooner. For those that don’t know, Numis is the first network marketing company to promote the sale of collectible gold and silver numismatic coins. The Numis Network is a category creator, as this had never been done in network marketing.

But as if to validate the wisdom of the Numis Network founders, there have been a number of copy-cat, me-too companies that have entered the market. Why, you ask? Because gold and silver has never been hotter. And Numis had no real competition in the marketplace. In my opinion, most of these companies offer an inferior product though. Numis is still the only company marketing Mint State 70 (MS-70) gold and silver coins. MS-70 coins have been graded as perfect in every way on the Sheldon scale. They are uncirculated coins that have never been touched by the human hand. Only about ten percent of coins submitted for grading make the cut as MS-70. Pretty much all of these other companies offer either ungraded coins or almost perfect (MS-69)coins. So sure, an inferior coin will be less worth in a collector’s eyes than a perfect coin. But then Numis never claimed to have the cheapest coins, but they do promise that all of their coins are competitively priced, based on what the market will bear.

These companies also attempt to copy the Numis Network’s compensation plan, or parts of it. I’ve heard that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But then these same copy-cat, me too companies will say how much better their compensation plans are compared to Numis. The founders of Numis have for the last ten years owned a company called the International Direct Selling Technology Corporation (IDSTC) that has created the compensation plans, software solutions, and back-office systems for over 400 network marketing companies. For the Numis Network, they combined two of the most popular compensation plans. The binary compensation plan for long term residual income and a coded bonus system for immediate upfront money. There are about six or seven other ways to be compensated in Numis as well. In addition to a lucrative compensation plan, Numis offers its representatives opportunities to earn or win all expenses paid luxury vacations and cruises several times a year.

Most of what you hear from these other companies is basically that they are a better deal because they have a cheaper cost of entry, or that they have a cheaper product, or that their compensation plan pays more per coin than Numis. But they all compare themselves to Numis because Numis is the standard for excellence in this niche of the industry.

And what sets the Numis Network apart from the rest in my opinion is the leadership of the company. In addition to their management of IDSTC, the founders of Numis have over 60 years experience in the network marketing industry, including being the top representatives in other MLM companies and successfully running other MLM companies. In the ranks of the representatives we also have legitimate internet and network marketing superstars like Ray Higdon, Bert Hedges, Cedrick Harris, David Wood, and Larry Beacham, to name a few.

Numis also prides itself on providing outstanding training in internet marketing, offline marketing, and of course, training in all things coins. A lot of this training is provided in the representatives back office. The company also provides weekly training calls and webinars. I am often suprised how involved the founders are in providing training. The upline leadership is actively involved in training all Numis reps whether they are on their teams or not. Everyone seem to have the same goals, to give every representative the best chance to succeed and to grow the company for the benefit of all.

Numis is also a financially sound, debt-free enterprise, funded with the owners’ own money. Retention in the company is strong. And the product is so compelling that a higher percentage of representatives maintain an active autoship when compared to other companies. The company experienced explosive growth in 2010 and 2011 portends to be an even more explosive year. As I mentioned earlier, my only regret was not getting involved sooner. Having said that, the time is absolutely ripe to get involved with Numis if you haven’t already. We currently have around 15,000 representatives and are right on the edge of critical mass. The future of the Numis Network could not be brighter, and the future of the copycats is far from certain. If you’re thinking about getting in the Gold and Silver business, and you should be, then the Numis Network is your best bet.

Can Monitium live up to all of the hype surrounding it, or can they even just fulfill the claims in its own advertising? Monitium is a recent addition to the network marketing industry. However, they don’t consider themselves a MLM company, but rather see themselves as a platform. They claim that what they are doing hasn’t been done before,
but with my limited knowledge they remind me of the downline clubs of old. Granted they offer quite a bit more than those downline clubs. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

The Monitium Success System is supposed to be the answer to the age-old network marketing problem of downline retention. By now, everyone has heard that the failure
rate in MLM is somewhere around 97%. Because so many are failing in these traditional MLM companies, if they stay in the industry a lot of them are constantly on the move looking for the company with all the right stuff. Monitium addresses this problem in a number of ways.

First, by allowing you to build one last downline that you can take intact with you into a number of companies that Monitium has established relationships with. Members can join or not join each opportunity as the see fit. And regardless of the compensation plan structures in the other companies, your group will maintain the same binary structure in Monitium. Monitium says that they will protect the interests of their members with these companies. I’m not sure exactly how that will work. Monitium also recognizes that it is not necessarily problems with MLM companies that causes network marketers to fail.

In most cases, networkers either do not give the opportunity a chance to succeed before bolting to the Next Big Thing, or they are simply not equipped with the knowledge and tools needed become successful in the MLM industry. So Monitium offers an impressive array of tools that you can use to brand yourself and market yourself and your business. The Monitium Success System is composed of tools like video email, web conferencing software, free 1-800 phone numbers, a CRM solution based Contact Management System, website tracking analytics, sales funnels, landing pages, replicated
marketing tools, autoresponders, and more.

In addition, Monitium provides you with the personal development and marketing training that is designed to equip you for success. Monitium has an Online Video University that allows members to learn at their leisure. They also offer pay-per-view training, but I honestly do not understand how that works, since I am not a member. All training is said to be
presented by top leaders and earners in the network marketing industry.

Monitium claims that their system is equally as good for your MLM leaders or experienced marketers as it is for the newbies. I don’t know how true that is, but I can see how it
would be appealing to marketers of all levels. This is especially true if keeping a group intact is a primary motivator. The tools and training provided will free up the leaders to do income producing activities instead of hand holding. The benefits of the tools and training to the newbies are obvious.

Monitium also claim that companies are lining up to work with them. I can see the benefit to the MLM companies of having groups of the distributors join en masse, but I don’t know what the companies have to give up in order to enter the fold. But think about it, you have a group of distributors joining your company together that will stick and stay with their group in your company instead of quitting after a couple of months like most distributors do. If I ran one of those companies, I think I would be willing to make some concessions.

The only other question I have about Monitium is will it last? We all will have to wait see what the answer to that question is. But from the outside looking in, Monitium looks like a win-win for everyone involved.

Rastelli foods have graced the tables of many a 5-star restaurant, as well as military bases, cruise ships, resort hotels, and other commercial establishments. In addition to Rastelli Direct, Rastelli Foods Group consists of Rastelli Seafood, Suma Trading which supplies military forces and supermarkets around the world with grocery, food, and even health and beauty products, and Rastelli Global which serves as a manufacturer and world-wide consolidator of food products. The Rastelli Food Group provides the infrastructure and support system that gives Rastelli Direct an unique advantage over any would-be competitors. Rastelli Direct has carved out a nice niche within the network marketing industry and are in a position to completely dominate that niche thanks to the Rastelli Food Group.

As its name implies, Rastelli Direct gives the company a direct marketing arm. Rastelli Direct officially launched in January 2010, so this is still a ground-floor “Delicious Opportunity”. For now, the opportunity is limited to the United States. Rastelli is able to ship over 175 chef-created food items nationally. Instead of “selling”, Rastelli Direct Independent Business Partners (IBP) are encouraged to “share” the products and opportunities with others in this “Earn While You Eat” program.

Rastelli also gives would-be distributors an opportunity to build a viable and profitable business, marketing superior food at competitive prices. In addition to enjoying 5-star restaurant quality foods in their own homes, Rastelli IBPs are able to earn immediate 20% commissions on all retail orders. As an IBP, you can also earn 20% Quick Start bonuses on the first orders of any IBPs that you enroll. All subsequent orders and sales by those IBPs will result in 2-5% residual commissions for as long as those IBPs stay in the business. There are several ways to be compensated as well. I would suggest that you take a good look at the compensation plan. I think you will be very pleased with what you see.

If there is a downside to this business, it is a common weakness shared by many network marketing companies, and that is a lack of training in how to generate leads and recruit new IBPs. This weakness can be mitigated by hooking up with a strong team within Rastelli or by acquiring a third-party marketing system to help provide a constant flow of leads for your business. Learning how to effectively market on the internet will greatly enhance your chances of having resounding success with Rastelli Direct.

The Numis Network, in my opinion, is the perfect marriage between the numismatic collectible coin industry and the network marketing industry. They are both impressive and profitable industries on their own, but together they form an unbeatable combination. What makes Numis so special is that it is the first, and the only network marketing company that markets graded, modern issue gold and silver coins. Now, full disclosure, I am a Numis Network distributor and am proud to be associated with the company. Also, I had no real practical experience as a coin collector before joining Numis a month ago. This article is not to sell you on Numis Network, but rather to talk to you about the Numismatic coin and network marketing industries. So let’s talk coins.

Numismatics is the study and collection of money. The numismatic coin industry is an $100 billion industry world-wide, and a $10 billion industry in the United States alone. To put the U.S. portion in perspective, this industry is comparable in size to the music industry or the Hollywood movie industry, or the pet supply industry in the U.S. I bet that if you were to look in your local yellow pages, you would be surprised at the number of coin shops and coin dealers in your local area. I know that I was. Similarly, I was surprised at the number of coin clubs and collector groups in my area. And judging by the only coin show that I’ve been able to attend, this industry is popular as well as huge.

Granted most of the dealers that I’ve met so far specialize in antique or rare coins as opposed to modern issue coins. But bear in mind that modern issue coins will become rarer and more in demand as time passes. As I mentioned earlier, the Numis Network specializes in graded, modern issue coins as opposed to bullion coins. The value of an ungraded bullion coin is basically the spot price of it’s metal content. The value of a graded coin is based on it’s metal content, rarity, collector demand, and condition. These coins are graded on the global standard for grading coins known as the Sheldon Scale. The Sheldon Scale runs from Mint State (MS) 1 to MS-70, with MS-70 being uncirculated, virtually perfect in condition, and untouched by human hands. These graded coins are certified by one of the 3 major grading agencies: ANACS, NGC, and PCGS. Once certified, these coins are then encapsulated in hard plastic “slabs” for preservation and presentation. As I said earlier, Numis is the only network marketing company marketing modern issue numismatic coins.

Network Marketing, also known as Multi-level marketing is a marketing strategy wherein the marketers are paid not only for the sales they make, but also for the sales of anybody that they recruit. This allows you to create leverage in your business and earn money off of the efforts of others. There are currently over 63 million people involved in this $114 billion industry worldwide. A quarter of these people, 15 million, are a part of the $31 billion share of the industry in the United States. In the last 60 years, there have been more millionaires created by the network marketing industry than any other industry on earth. However, there is nothing easy about this industry.

Regrettably, the network marketing industry has about a 95-97% failure rate. Network marketing businesses do not have the high start up costs and overhead associated with traditional businesses, of which about 90% fail within the first five years. And in my opinion, it’s not so much that people fail in Network Marketing, but that they quit before truly giving themselves an opportunity to succeed. Think about it, people go to school for years to learn a profession or trade, but they often join a network marketing company with no marketing training or experience, and if they don’t have instant success they pack it up after just a month or two in business and quit, before they really learn anything about sales, marketing, or networking. But those who take the time to learn the business and stick it out can be richly rewarded for their efforts.

The beauty of this marriage between numismatic coins and network marketing is that the Numis Network sharply reduces the rate of failure. Even if you never recruit a single soul, as long as you are on the autoship you are collecting assets every month that you can put on your balance sheet. The product is not a consumable like most network marketing products, which are worth nothing after consumption. With Numis, you are actually better off financially the longer you stay on the autoship. This leads to a much higher retention rate than the industry norm. You also have true collectors in Numis who purchase more than the monthly minimum. All of this leads to stable and reliable residual incomes which makes Numis just about the only business where the average person is making money by selling money without having a commodities broker license.

So instead of spending precious time looking for prospective customers, you can spend your time with the people who are looking for you. But the focus of this article will be on online methods and strategies. The goal of both strategies are the same, to create leverage so that your marketing system is working 24/7, whether you are or not.

Nowadays it just makes perfect sense to leverage the power of the internet to expose your product or service to the masses. But thanks to spam filters, pop-up blockers, and manual screening processes, getting your message to your target audience can be difficult at times. But what if you can get the people you are looking for to come to you? That is where the automated attraction marketing systems comes in.

An automated attraction marketing system on the internet can simultaneously do the following for you and your business:

* Generate Leads
* Personally brand you as an expert
* Create cash flow to fund your business
* Make recruiting and selling easy as pie
* And more.

Each of these activities work together to support each other, and in some cases make the other possible. They all share a common purpose, and that is to get the prospect to know, like, and ultimately trust you. This is important because people only do business with people that they know, like, and trust. So let’s look at each of these activities, beginning with lead generation.

There are many ways that a system can generate leads. One of the more popular ways is to offer valuable free information to your prospect, or targeted audience rather, in exchange for their name, email address, and phone number. Your autoresponder should contain a series of follow-up lettters related to your niche, assuming that your prospects are interested in your niche as well. This series of letters will go a long ways toward creating rapport and branding you as an expert.

The series of letters from your autoresponder should provide value to your prospects and brand you as an authority figure. These letters can be in the form of internet marketing training, product evaluation or training, personal development, etc. This is a good way to showcase your knowledge of your niche and position you as an expert on the subject. Your autoresponder can also offer to solve a problem your prospect is having or address a need by way of an inexpensive product or training. This is an excellent way to progressively build more trust and create cash flow to fund your business.

This way of creating cash flow is also known as a funded proposal. You can then use these funds to pay for your tools, systems, and more marketing and advertising. The products are usually affiliate programs, where you have an affiliate relationship with the product vendor. The commissions on the sale of these affiliate programs are usually between 20% and 50%. Some attraction marketing systems come with a ready package of affiliate programs all related to the niche at hand. This situation will produce multiple streams of income for you, over and above what you make with your primary opportunity.
Indeed, since most prospects will never join your primary opportunity anyway, this a way you can get money from these people even if they say no to your opportunity.

But if they appreciate the value and training you are providing them, and they are satisfied with the affiliate programs that you recommend to handle their problems, then recruiting them into your primary opportunity is now a whole lot easier. Because by this time, you have a relationship. They see you as an authority figure or an expert in the niche. Your advice is trusted. So when you suggest that they follow you or work directly with you, they will be much more likely to do so. There is also a good possibly that they will refer their friends and acquaintances to you as well.

An automated attraction marketing system will do all of these things for you automatically, leaving you free to focus on other things. Like talking to people who have already expressed an interest in your product or opportunity. That’s a lot better than trying to convince complete strangers that they need what you have to offer, whether they need it or not.

The four steps of this strategy are:

1. Original content (article) creation
2. Social Bookmarking
3. Video Promotion
4. Article Promotion

But before we detail these steps, we will discuss the principles that drive organic search engine traffic.
The first principle is Originality. You should produce unique original content on your own.
The next principle is Relevancy. That is, your content should be relevant to what the user is searching for.
Next up is Link Popularity. Simply put, the search engines will look at how many web sites link to your content to determine how popular your content is.
The final principle is probably the most important, and that is consistent daily action.
When used properly, all four of these together will generate a significant amount of buzz for your content, making your content rank pretty high in the search engines.

Original Content Creation
In this first step, we are talking about writing a 400-750 word article, roughly a couple of paragraphs, on a subject of your choosing. Preferably, you will choose to write something that others will find helpful. You can review opportunities, companies, or products. Or you can provide information on techniques, tips, or strategies. Basically you want to provide valuable information to your target audience. The best place to put your article when you are done is on your blog, preferably a self-hosted WordPress blog.

Social Bookmarking
This second step is where you can start building back links to your content on your blog. You do this by submitting your content to around 30 social bookmarking sites using the free OnlyWire utility. These are popular sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Digg, Delicious, MySpace, Reddit, etc. If you have a blog, you can install the Onlywire submitter on your blog, sign up for all of the social bookmarking sites, and with the push of one button, bookmark your content on these 30 or so sites creating an instant 30 back links to your content.

Video Promotion
Due to the enormous popularity of video and sites like YouTube, using video to promote the article you created in Step 1 will create a tsunami of traffic to your content. The video doesn’t have to be any longer than 30 seconds of you telling people why they should read your article. You can then use tools like Traffic Geyser or Tube Mogul to upload your video to various video directories. Traffic Geyser posts your content in about 70 video libraries and blogs, and you can even create podcasts as well. Tube Mogul is free, but does not submit to nearly as many libraries.

Article Promotion
You can create an additional 200-300 backlinks to your content by doing article promotion. This is done by submitting the article to hundreds of article directories by using a tool like the Automatic Article Submitter. This particular tool will allow you to automatically create and confirm accounts on all of the article directories, choose your categories, and establish different pen names, as well as submit your article to several hundred sites with the push of one button. It does many other things that we don’t have time to discuss right now.

Obviously, there are more details associated with these steps than could be presented here.
